Sopranocaster

We used to joke around in the old shop that it would be cool to have a bench seat touring guitar to annoy captive band mates without knocking into them with a long neck. Also, this would be easy for a quick and unobtrusive test instrument for service work on amps Etc.

This is how the Sopranocaster was born. Functionally it is the same as a regular guitar with a capo at the twelfth fret. Essentially the same as a six string mandolin. Go ahead and tune it in fourths or fifths or whatever your heart desires. It is as bulletproof as a Tele but snakes around in the upper nether regions and encourages ridiculous virtuosity. Swoons may lead to fisticuffs though and you must be careful even with your compact weapon.

This is a one of a kind instrument and comes with an over the top beautiful custom hardshell case made at great expense by Cedar Creek over 25 years ago. This piece has been floating around my showroom since then being a bit shy, as I never really tried to sell it. Now, all veils are off and it’s up for grabs.
