This little devil is constructed very much like a Les Paul-style guitar. It has a carved flame-maple top, mahogany back and neck, bound neck and body, ebony fretboard and headstock veneer, pearl inlay, and tobacco sunburst finish.
I custom wound the single-coil pickup and machined the stud tailpiece from a piece of the hardest bell brass I have ever encountered. It took several days to machine, but turned out to be well worth the effort.
This one-of-a-kind electric ukulele has unbelievable sustain and singing highs.
