E Harp Guitar

This is a thirteen string electric harp guitar. Six strings are a basic 24 fret guitar and the other seven strings are open harp strings with sharping levers at the headstock. It has a stereo and a mono output so that the harp strings and guitar can be run into separate amps to create a stunning spatial effect.

Lightweight 16-1 ratio Peghed brand tuners are used to keep the instrument nicely balanced. After spending some time with this large menagerie of strings, one tends to begin to develop a muscle memory directed at the lower spectrum of frequencies. Little stabbing and flipping motions exude monstrous low frequency accompaniment to the guitar. Try to set aside a little time to explore and be sure to take pictures while you are there. There may be rare sights and sounds contained within.
