Over the years the Maxwell guitar model has taken on various styles and experimental juxtapositions. This version, designed for Andrew Bird, features a lightweight body that is chambered and unadorned using simply black and white. It is set up like an acoustic guitar with heavier strings and a higher string height. This combination of elements makes for a robust and sparkling tonal palette.
Other Silvertone-style Specimens include the Schnellercaster Custom, Silvertone Tele, Rendition 1457 Guitar & Bass, Andrew Bird Maxwell, BJQ Pippin, and Indian Corn Guitar.
