Tube Amp Repair 2 Advanced Diagnostics and Modifications covers all of the information necessary to delve into the world of tube amp repair, modifications and advanced diagnostics techniques from the standpoint of the amp repair professional.

Students who have a grasp of audio electronics fundamentals will gain a deeper understanding of tube electronics and circuits, will learn how to modify tube amps for optimal sound and get the most out of advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.

Pre-requisite: CSGM Tube Amp Repair & Diagnostics I – Fundamentals  or similar experience.

In the event that a student cannot attend a class, written notice must be given in advance to receive a credit to be used on another tuition.  Valid credit may be transferred to another course date, or to another student, if so desired.

Lectures cover tube theory, tube audio circuits, and repair and modification techniques.

Demonstrations cover advanced diagnostic tools, testing and repair techniques and circuit modifications to achieve specific sound characteristics.
