This lovely 5-String Luddite Bass Guitar has just joined our growing family of luddites. The client provided us with a most gorgeous Pistachio wood cap. Everything else just seemed to fall into place around it.
Sporting the same 32” scale length as the other Luddite basses, this asymmetrical headstock leaves room for a pearl glyphic of a sea turtle (image also provided by client). Two Joe Barden humbucking Jazz bass pickups with stacked additive controls round out a very versatile circuit. Stable, solid and generative. Makes me smile.
