This passive 14″ sub woofer provides the extra Low end required by some of today’s listening trends.
Paired with Specimen Horn Speakers and the Hi-Fi Stereo Amp – Or one of the Dayton solid state units we sell, it’s the perfect compliment for use in a favorite listening room, office or apartment.
Driver
The Specimen Subwoofer uses the excellent Seas L26ROY 10″ speaker. It’s extremely stiff and rigid aluminum cone gives tremendous bass precision. Extra-large magnet system provides high-efficiency and low Q. Thunderous and tight whenever needed.
Design & Construction
These subwoofers are entirely handmade at our shop in Chicago, IL. They are made using the same Baltic birch plywood we use for the Horn bases and hi-fi amps and can be finished to match perfectly. The unit is a 14-inch cube and weighs 60 lbs.
