Specimen Products’ Little Horn Speakers are high-fidelity horns in a unique bookshelf format. Cast in heavy-duty fiberglass and finished in a choice of lacquer colors, the horns are built atop a cube base constructed of heavy-duty Baltic birch plywood. The base houses the driver and acts as a compression chamber for the horn while the inverted design enables the low frequencies to emerge at the top of the enclosure. Because of their high sensitivity, Little Horn speakers are uniquely suited to low-power, single-ended triode (SET) tube amplifiers. They also come with the cutting edge FE-108 Sigma, a cast-frame driver with a radical new cone design which has particularly even frequency response and greater power handling capability – to provide various performance levels, efficiencies, and power-handling capabilities.
