I waxed the truss rod threads and cavity. I then injected glue deep into the crevices, hoping for full penetration. I clamped the break tightly. After cleaning up the joint with sandpaper and dowels, I sprayed primer, then black lacquer, then clear lacquer. Curing for a few days, I buffed out the job and reassembled.

The repair is invisible.
