The Sonic Arboretum – 1 week to go!
We are making the final push before installing the Sonic Arboretum at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago next Monday. This week we’ll be completing the final stages of French polishing the horns, testing the system and installing the remote control unit for the XL Janus spinning horn speaker. It’s getting pretty exciting around here!

writesThis is all so cool. I used to get guitars set up by ian when I was 23 hipster in the nineties. He is a musical genius, too, Falstaff’s records one of the best musical achievements anywhere. Ian is also a brilliant vocalist. Now I’m 41 and begging my eleven yr old to take an amp building class with me and he refuses, calling it geeky. Maybe if i play him Christina he might change his tune. Ian followed his heart and what he’s done is super cool. Good luck! Can’t wait to visit the arboretum.

writesHello,
Thanks for the message. Good to hear from some of our pioneering customers! We’ve had many a father/son teams in our classes, so don’t give up. Maybe one day he’ll see the wisdom of your ways.
Yesterday we installed the Sonic Arboretum at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. We’ll be posting photos, videos, etc. soon. Stay tuned!
