The Schnellercaster. This never happened
for Sears, but it happened here. About a dozen of
these guitars exist, half of them with Bigsbys.
All of them sold while their paint was still
drying. Happy owners include Jeff Tweedy of
Wilco, Chris Mills, Mark Greenberg of the
Coctails, Wes Hollywood, Archer Prewitt of the
Sea and Cake.

Wes Hollywood
is one of the few with
enough courage to have a
guitar made with his name
inlayed in
mother-of-pearl on the
fretboard.
- "Ian is a
mad scientist, and his
genius is apparent in
everything he builds.
Although he didn't make
the Schnellercaster with
me in mind, I saw it and
knew right away that it
was for me. To make it
more personal and a true
one-of-a-kind, I had Ian
inlay my name on the
fretboard in
mother-of-pearl. Once
this inlay was complete,
so was I. My new guitar
was now an extension of
my being. No other new
guitar I'd ever played
felt this good; it had an
already-broken-in feel to
it. Genius!" - Wes
Hollywood
