The school is located in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood on the west side of downtown Chicago. While there are plenty of hotel choices in town, here are a few that are close to the school:
The Alonzo – This comfortable and stylish B&B is located in the trendy and eclectic Ukrainian Village neighborhood – a quick bus/cab ride away from our school. Starting at $85 a night, this cozy spot is a real steal.
Ray’s Bucktown B&B – Great location in a nice neighborhood setting. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and bars. Plus, Ray, the owner, is reputed to cook one of the best and biggest breakfasts in town.
Longman & Eagle – Hip new spot with awesome Gastropub on the first floor! It’s located in Logan Square and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and bars.
House of Two Urns B&B – Wicker Park can be your home in Chicago, while you enjoy the artistic ambiance and the friendly service that your hosts offer with a hot full breakfast filled with homemade artisan jams, freshly baked muffins and entree du jour, free wi-fi and even free parking.
Marriott Chicago at Medical District/UIC – Enjoy the hotel’s city skyline views without the hustle & bustle of downtown.
The Wicker Park Inn B&B – This is a Chicago Bed and Breakfast offering high quality yet affordable Chicago accommodations in a trendy neighborhood full of great restaurants, vintage and boutique shops, art galleries, cafes and nightlife. Each morning guests are greeted with pastries, rich coffee, fresh fruit and other breakfast goodies.
Iklektik House – Located in a trendy neighborhood close to tons of restaurants, shopping and more! You will love the fully furnished one bedroom apartments. All decorated with work from artists Mindy Huestis, Tony Andreoni, local artists and collections from past years.

Public transportation to the school is possible via the CTA. There is also plenty of street-side parking in front of the school and bicycles are welcome.
Those students flying into O’Hare can take the CTA Blue Line subway right from the airport. This line goes to downtown Chicago but has stops in neighborhoods near the school and some of the accommodations noted above. There is also CTA transportation from Midway Airport to downtown Chicago via the Green Line train.
