We began experimenting with horn shapes to use in conjunction with musical instrument amplifiers more than a decade ago. The results were impressive. Word spread and various musicians including harmonica players, banjo players, and a certain violinist recognized their excellence in amplifying these difficult-to-amplify instruments. It is the unique projection and efficiency of the Specimen horn shape that is ideally suited for these applications.
