Silvertone Maxwell

This guitar is built like the Silvertone guitars sold by Sears in the 1960s, even down to the exact same wallpaper edging and masonite pickguard.

The black & white guitar pictured here is owned by Alexander Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand (pictured below right). He picked it up while they were touring with Death Cab for Cutie in April 2006.
